Directions for Campsite & Festival Parking

The Tunes on the Sands campsite and official festival parking is located on Mill Lane in Stoke Flemming.

IMPORTANT – The roads in this beautiful area can be small and winding and are unsuitable for large vehicles and heavy traffic; therefore we strongly recommend that you read the following advice. Please take caution when following sat nav, as it will try to guide you down minor roads. In general, stick to major A roads.

If you are following the Sat Nav ignore it once you have gone past Woodlands head, towards Dartmouth, then on to Stoke Fleming/Blackpool Sands.

Getting here:

  • Set your sat nav destination to the Sainsbury’s in Dartmouth (postcode TQ6 9AH).
  • From Dartmouth, set your sat nav to Mill Ln, Stoke Fleming, Dartmouth TQ6 0QZ. This will ensure you enter Stoke Flemming from the north via the A379.
  • Drive through Stoke Flemming until you reach the post office. Take the right-hand road with the post office on your left (Church Road)
  • Our campsite will be clearly signposted approximately 100m up Church Road.

You will also find a map at the bottom of this page.

Parking

Festival parking is at the same location as our campsite; please see directions above.

Please note that pre-purchased festival parking tickets are valid only at the festival campsite and not at the Blackpool Sands Beach Car Park.

Blue Badge holders should park at the Blackpool Sands Beach Car Park – pre-purchased parking tickets will be accepted at this car park for blue badge holders and those with accessibility needs only. Those without pre-purcahsed tickets can pay £8 upon arrival via cash or card

OUR Campsite

About our campsite

The campsite is located at the top of the hill on Mill rd overlooking the gorgeous valleys of Blackpool Sands.

Due to the lack of local campsite availability, we are now offering options for campers and camper vans. We have a field at the top of the hill, which is a 10 minute walk or a brief shuttle bus down the hill. Weekend camping tickets can now be purchased (per person) through our website.

Facilities on the campsite will be very limited, however toilets, showers, overnight security and lighting will be provided. There will be park and ride facilities running through the day for all campers. Please note, no fires, BBQs or music are permitted in the campsite.

There will also be traders where you will be able to take in the incredible views and grab a coffee & breakfast in the morning.

There are 3 different fields; One for car parking, one for camping and one for campervans & mobile homes (Tents and vehicles will be in separate fields)

The campsite & parking will be heavily signposted as you arrive into the area, with plenty of helpful stewards to guide you in the right direction.

Weekend Camping tickets are available which include camping and festival access in a single ticket. If you’re not sure whether you will be camping or decide later; you can purchase Camping Add-On tickets in our ticket shop.

Opening hours

The campsite is open for arrivals from the Thursday at 6pm and we ask that you vacate at mid-day on the Sunday. Our campsite is staffed 24/7, and you can arrive at any time including Friday, Saturday or Sunday at any time.

Arrival

When you arrive in your vehicle, our campsite staff will ask you to show them your camping ticket. We recommend showing this on your phone if possible (no need to print your ticket!). If you’re camping, you will then be directed to park your vehicle in the campsite parking area. Campervans will be directed to the campervan area. You are then free to set up your tent and get comfortable before catching the shuttle bus to the festival site, where you will need to show your tickets to collect your campsite wristband. You will not be allowed to re-enter the campsite without your camping wristband.

Please note that no vehicles will be permitted directly in the camping area. The camping car park is located close by, and help is on hand to help you carry your bags…

Our campsite provides:

  • Parking for all campers and campervans. A separate car parking area is available for those with tents; whilst campervans will be directed to our campervan / motorhome area.
  • Shuttle buses running continuously throughout the day

  • 24 hour security

Waste
